Semalem sekitar jam 22.00 saya nonton film di RCTI dengan judul Apocalypto, Film ini bersetting di pedalaman Peru America selatan, Film ini di produksi oleh Mel Gibson. Keunggulan dari film ini adalah dari segi meku-up artis dan lokasi yang dijadikan tempat pembuatan film sangat natural....

Para pemburu budak menyerang sebuah perkampungan suku pedalaman dan membawa para penduduknya untuk dijadikan budak . Adalah jaguar pow yang juga anak dari ketua suku itu juga ikut di tawan ,tapi sebelum itu dia sempat menyelamatkan anak dan istrinya yang sedang hamil di dalam sebuah sumur kering. Budak2 itu dibawa ke kota suku maya dan ada yang dijual ada pula yang akan dijadikan tumbal. Jaguar pow batal dijadikan tumbal karena gerhana matahari yang tiba2 muncul.
Dia akhirnya berhasil melarikan diri setelah membunuh anak dari pemimpin para pemburu budak itu. Kejar2ran pun terjadi di dalam hutan,karena jaguar pow menguasai wilayah hutan tersebut maka satu persatu pemburu yang mengejarnya pun dibunuhnya. Kejar-kejaran sampai ke pantai dan berhenti ketika mereka melihat armada kapal perang spanyol datang merapat. Dalam hujan,Jaguar pow pun kembali ke desa dan menyelamatkan istrinya yang ternyata melahirkan lagi dalam sumur yang hampir penuh berisi air. Jaguar pow pun akhirnya bersama lagi dengan istrinya dan pergi jauh kedalam hutan sementara armada pasukan kerajaan spanyol mulai mendarat.
